Orfeo ed Euridice [collection] : opera in three acts / original libretto by Calzabigi ; music by Chr. Gluck. 1860-1899.

Arranged in four groups: I. Vocal scores (7). II. Orchestra parts (39). III. Chorus scores (2). IV. Promptbooks (1). Vocal scores include two editions by Litolff, one in French and one in German/Italian (Braunschweig, 18--), an English/French edition by Chappell (London, 186-), and an English/Italian edition by Novello (London, 1891), one copy of which is edited as a stage manager's guide. Orchestra parts occur as two sets, one for the on-stage ensemble and one for the pit orchestra. Included are parts published by Peters (pl. no. 5487) and manuscript copies. Neither set appears complete. Chorus parts, in English, were printed by Tams. The promptbook consists of a libretto published for the American Opera (New York: Charles D. Koppel?) which contains interleaved stage directions and other annotations.
